Congratulations to Jason Moore on his induction into the Aberdeen Sporting Hall of Fame. A well-deserved accolade, Jason’s judo career spans 30 years as Scottish Champion at Junior, Youth and Senior level many times before joining the Police. In September 2016 Jason once again won gold for the 9th time at the British Police Championships. Amongst his numerous titles are: British Masters Champion, silver at the Commonwealth Masters, World Police Champion and selected for 4 European Police Championships (placing 5th, 7th and 9th).
Jason 5th Dan, is currently head coach and vice chairman at Aberdeen Judo Club and a member of the British Police Judo National Committee. Jason’s commitment to judo sees him train, work hard and promote judo many times per week not only at AJC but with his friends and colleagues at other neighbouring clubs.
Coaching from aged 16 Jason’s hard work and dedication to a sport he loves has already earned him several awards as Grampian Police Sportsman of the Year many times and Aberdeen Sports Person of the Year.
